    The daily tours are operated from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, on a “share a car” basis, offering the opportunity to meet other people on the tour. For all tours, pick up and drop off is from your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.

    Guide: All tours are operated with English speaking guides and are MULTI-LINGUAL. Some of the tours offer additional guiding in French, German and Spanish. For days of operation, please refer to the table at the end.

    Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s Tomb, the Room of Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey; Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Kotel and continue to the Christian quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Proceed to the New City and visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.

    On Saturdays and Jewish holidays instead of Yad Vashem, drive to Ein Karem, southwest of Jerusalem traditionally known as birthplace of John the Baptist. Stroll in the narrow lanes of the picturesque neighbourhood stopping by Mary’s spring and continue to the remarkable Church of Saint John the Baptist. Return to point of departure.

    Modest dress (no shorts or sleeveless shirts) and head covering are required for visiting holy sites. Children under 10 years old are not allowed inside the Holocaust Museum.

    Depart Tel Aviv via the Judean hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Visit a Dead Sea cosmetic products shop. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada and learn about the heroic story of the Jewish peoople. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, Roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car and continue to the Dead Sea. Enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud that many believe has therapeutic effects. Return to point of departure.

    Depart Tel Aviv via the coastal road and the landscape of the lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent His childhood. Visit the Basilica of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue via Kana to Tiberius, the lively resort town on the Sea of Galilee. Drive along the Kinneret Lake (Sea of Galilee) to Capernaum to view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Next is Tabgha where we visit the Church of Multiplication of the Fish and Loaves with its beautiful mosaic floor. Head to Yardenit, the famous baptismal site located where the Jordan River flows from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea and enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings. Return to point of departure.

    Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, an ancient Roman capital and port. Enjoy a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa for a scenic view of the city, the port and the magnificent Baha’i gardens and shrine. Next is Rosh Hanikra and descend by cable car into the underwater grottoes and admire the spectacular natural formation. Onto Acre, the old city recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Walk through the market, the mosque and the old port then visit the remarkable underground Crusader city and crypt to learn about their fascinating history and culture. Return to point of departure.

    Visit Beit Hatfutsot, the Diaspora museum. Drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, the center of business and entertainment in Israel. Also known as the “White City,” Tel-Aviv was declared as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site for its collection of over 4,000 Bauhaus style buildings. Stop at Rabin Square, the site of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. Continue to Old Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world to visit the ancient ruins and walk along the Artists Quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv built in 1887, followed by Nachalat Binyamin, the pedestrian mall of the city where you can enjoy live street music, arts, crafts and handmade jewellery.

    Drive through the Judean desert and enjoy a roadside view of the Good Samaritan Inn. After a short stop at sea level for a panoramic view, continue to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Stop to see the Zacchaeus’ Sycamore tree and proceed for an overview of the Mt. of Temptation. Visit Tel Jericho where 25 ancient cities were uncovered. (*cable car not included). Proceed to the city of Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus for a walk through Manger Square to visit the Church of Nativity. Next visit the Church of Milk Grotto and Shepherds’ field. Stop at a local souvenir store and return to Jerusalem.

    Drive to the city of Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus. Walk through Manger Square to visit the Church of Nativity, the oldest Church in the Holy land. Admire the ancient limestone columns and remains of mosaic floors. Descend to the Grotto of the Nativity where a Silver Star in the floor marks the spot where Christ is believed to have been born. Proceed to the Church of Milk Grotto where the Virgin Mary nursed baby Jesus and according to tradition, a drop of her milk spilt and turned the stones white. Next visit Shepherds’ field.     Jewish Holidays:

    Tour no. 1 to Jerusalem will be operated as per Saturday’s program.
    Ein Karem will replace Yad Vashem.
    Sept. 19 – Tour no. 4 – to Caesarea, Haifa – Visit to the underground Crusaders’ city in Acre will not be included.
    Sept. 27 – Tour no. 4 – Rosh Hanikra will not be visited.
    Oct. 4 to 9 – Tour no. 4 – Visit of the underground Crusaders’ city will be replaced by a visit to the Templar’s tunnel.

    Easter: April 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 2020
    Tours no. 1, 5, 13, 17 to 20: Program will not include the visit to the Church of Holy Sepulcher.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

    • All tours will NOT be operated on Yom Kippur (September 27-28, 2020).
    • All tours are conducted by government-licensed guides and in luxury air-conditioned vehicles and buses.
    • Prices include complimentary pick up from major hotels.
    • Transfers from/to hotels or meeting point may be accompanied with drivers to avoid delays.
    •  Tourists are required to be ready at the earlier pick up time indicated.
    • Delays in pick up beyond the estimated range may occur due to unforeseen reasons and/or traffic conditions.
    • Tours 13 and 14 end in Jerusalem and do NOT include a return transfer.
    •  Changes in itinerary and pick up times may occur due to holidays, force majeure or circumstances beyond our control.
    • The daily tours are conducted bilingually (please see guaranteed language table).
    • Daily tours – entrance fees are included. Meals are NOT included.
    • 10% discount on daily tours for students and 7 to 12 year old children.
    • 25% discount on daily tours for children under 7 years old.
    • Children under 2 years old – free of charge.
    • Passengers with special needs: wheelchairs, carriages or baby chairs need to notify us about their needs in advance.
    • On daily tours, the tourists are obliged to stay with the group at all times. Separation from the group may result in being left behind and will be at the customer’s expense.
    • Cancellation fees: 25% for notification 24 hours prior to tour. No refund for cancellation on the day of the tour.
    • Valuable belongings should never be left unattended in the vehicle.
    • Rent-a-guide will not accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage.
    • For all tours (except for Masada & the Dead Sea), modest attire is required for visiting holy places of any religion (men with head covering, women with shoulder covering; for both men and women – no shorts).
