Day 1 Sunday Arrival in Lisbon 
You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Meet your Tour Leader in the hotel lobby for a welcome drink and dinner. Overnight in Lisbon.  (D)

Day 2 Monday in Lisbon
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Discover Lisbon on a full day tour through the historic centre featuring amongst many of the major sites the Marques de Pombal, Rossio and Comercio Squares. Visit the Belem Quarter and admire the Monuments of the Discoveries, Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery (admission not included). Return to the hotel on your own. Overnight in Lisbon. (B)

Day 3 Tuesday Lisbon – excursion to Obidos & Nazare After breakfast this morning depart towards the north for a visit to the mediaeval village of Obidos. Visit the Ginjinha Liquor Factory where you can learn about the process of production and enjoy a liquor tasting. Two hours north of Lisbon brings us to the bustling seaside resort of Nazare where according to local lore, women wear skirts with seven petticoats. Stop to visit the village and to admire the tall lighthouse and the waves that reach up to 100 feet. Enjoy some free time for lunch in the fishing village (cost not included) before returning back to Lisbon for overnight. (B)

Day 4 Wednesday Sintra and Algarve
Following breakfast depart for Sintra for a visit to the Sintra National Palace. Proceed to Cascais for a short panoramic walking tour and some free time in this quaint town. We continue south to the Algarve region. On arrival check in and dinner at your hotel in Albufeira, Algarve. (B, D)

Day 5 Thursday Algarve, Olhao & Tavira
We begin with breakfast at the hotel then start the day with a walking tour in Olhao, an important fishing town and visit the important local market. Continue to Moncarapacho to experience a visit to a local Olive Oil Producer where you can see their olive oil plantation, learn about the production method and have an olive oil tasting. Depart for Tavira for a walking tour through the typical cobbled streets. Visit the Castle to enjoy the best view over the city. Our last stop will be at the enchanting village of Cancela Velha where the Ria Formosa lagoon meets the Atlantic Ocean. Overnight in Albufeira, Algarve. (B)

Day 6 Friday Algarve – excursion to Cabo de Sao Vicente, Sagres and Lagos After breakfast at the hotel we start the day with a visit to Cabo de Sao Vicente, 6km to the west of Sagres, the most south-westerly point of Europe, that up until the 14th century was considered the end of the known world. Guarding the busy shipping lines is one of Europe’s brightest lighthouses that can be seen from 60 miles away. Continuing on we come to Sagres in the extreme western trip of the Algarve, one of the most remote regions of Portugal, an area of barren, windswept landscapes, towering cliffs and raging seas. Visit the Sagres Fortress from where Henry the Navigator settled and studied the oceans to discover new maritime routes. Afterwards proceed to Lagos for free time for lunch (cost not included) then a short walking tour in the city center. Return to the hotel for a free evening. Overnight in Albufeira, Algarve. (B)

Day 7 Saturday Algarve to Lisbon
Morning at leisure. Early afternoon departure from your hotel in the Algarve returning to Lisbon. Check in at your hotel. Optional dinner and Fado show at a local restaurant. Overnight in Lisbon. (B)

Day 8 Sunday depart Lisbon
Breakfast then check out of the hotel and transfer to Lisbon airport for departure. (B)
