Today, the first stop will be at the Bali Butterfly Park, a butterfly and insect conservation facility that boasts over 900 butterflies of different species as well as various other insects. The park also exhibits a collection of preserved butterflies and insect specimens in informative displays. Next, we will spend time at the infamous Jatiluwih Rice Terrace and enjoy some morning coffee with spectacular views. After lunch, we will visit some of the many traditional Balinese markets which sell fruits and souvenirs as well as artworks. Guests will have the experience of shopping like a local, be ready for your bargaining powers! The final stop will be at Ulan Danu Beratan Temple complex on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. In the village of Batu Bulan, you will be introduced to the fine art of Batik painting. After this fascinating visit, we will proceed to the eastern part of Bali which is dominated by the towering Mount Agung (3,142 meters). This is Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano, and its last eruption was in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most sacred and significant temple for the Balinese Hindu community. For this reason, it is known as the “Mother Temple”. At Bukit Jambul, you will stop for a breathtaking view of the valley and the opportunity for lunch. On your way through the east of Bali, you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. This village is unique for its different social community structure and layout which dates to the 16th century. Upon return, you will discover the Hall of Justice called “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung, the former capital of Bali. NOTE: We recommend that you bring along a sarong to wear at the Besakih Temple. Depart from your Bali hotel and travel through the Balinese countryside. Stop at the Royal Temple of Mengwi—Pura Taman Ayun—built in honor of past ancestors and deities. Wonder at the intricate architectural designs and surrounding landscapes. Next, visit the Kedaton Monkey Forest, a nature reserve and sanctuary for crab-eating macaque monkeys. Walk through the lush greenery of the tropical rainforest, watch the playful primates as they monkey around and visit the Holy Spring Bathing Temple. Continue to Tanah Lot, home of a Balinese Pilgrimage Temple uniquely located atop a large offshore rock. This morning after breakfast, head on a city tour of Singapore. Drive through the civic and colonial districts of the city before making a stop at Merlion, an icon symbol of Singapore — a lion-headed figure with the body of a fish. Take photos of the monument and enjoy the views of Marina Bay. From there you will visit the Thian Hock Keng — the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore. Next, enter the district of Little India famous for its vibrant colors and the scent of joss sticks, jasmines, and spices. The final stop on this tour will be the National Orchid Gardens where you may see the sprawling displays of different types of orchids. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Singapore

Chinatown has also come a long way since the early days when Chinese immigrants made this enclave their home. Filled with a sprawling myriad of shops and eateries, bustling with colorful and exciting activities set against a backdrop of rich history and heritage, Chinatown is not to be missed especially in the evening when everything really comes alive. Wander along the narrow lanes of the Night Market and test your bargaining skills against street vendors selling anything from souvenirs to leather goods. After dinner at a local Chinese restaurant, will head to Clarke Quay and hop onto a bumboat or a cruise along the Singapore River to see Singapore lit up at night, showcasing beautifully restored shophouses, modern skyscrapers of the financial district, colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion statue and the light up and water display of Marina Bay Sands. Thereafte we, will coach down to bustling streets of Little India starting at Sri Veerakaliamman Temple for a brief review of its history.
