Welcome to Copenhagen! Upon arriving at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can enjoy free time in the area until your tour begins. Check the information board in the hotel reception area for details regarding the meeting place, time and the guide’s name. In Copenhagen, one thousand years of history awaits you in the medieval streets; the same streets that were walked on by every generation of the world’s oldest royal family – the same streets and canals which have inspired artists for centuries and were home to meticulous craftsmen and famous designers. After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your tour guide to start your comprehensive tour of the Danish capital. Copenhagen is the largest city in Scandinavia and is full of contrasts. You will pass by the beautiful Tivoli Gardens and cruise past Christiansborgs’ Palace, a majestic residence home to the Danish Parliament. Drive past the National Museum and the Royal Theater. Next, head on over to “The Little Mermaid”, Denmark’s most popular attraction and one of the most photographed statues in the world. Snap a great shot of this beautiful sculpture perched on a rock beside the ocean. Your tour will end with a drop-off at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. We highly recommend visiting the pastel-colored waterfront houses in the Nyhavn area. Drop in at an industrial-chic bar for a drink or stroll around the famous Tivoli Gardens, home to one of the oldest operating rollercoasters in the world. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, check out and travel towards Helsingor, the City of Hamlet, where the great Kronborg Castle stands. From there your journey will take you to Sweden, as you travel through beautiful landscapes with large lakes and lush forests you reach Jonkoping, a city on the shores of Lake Vattern in Southern Sweden. Jonkoping is known for its long lakeside beach – Vatterstranden. In the center lies the 19th-century Sofia Church with its neo-Gothic design and towering spire. Spend some time exploring the small city and have lunch (at your own expense). From there you will travel to Mariefred, a picturesque town known for its traditional houses, marina, and castle where you will have time to stroll around. Then, head on over to Stockholm, where you will arrive in the late evening. Overnight in Stockholm
After breakfast at the hotel, you will head out on a panoramic tour of Stockholm, the exquisite capital of Sweden built on 13 islands that were joined together. You will see the Gamla Stan or the “City Between the Bridges”, the old quarter of the city, full of life where there are many monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum along Stortorget Square which pays tribute to the winners of the Nobel Prizes, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, you will see a beautiful view from the Fjallgatan viewpoint. With this tour, you will truly get to know Stockholm and the rich history behind the city. After this tour, you will return to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to further explore the city at your own pace or to unwind in your hotel. Spend the morning at leisure to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Pay a visit to one of the art galleries or museums in Stockholm (there are over 100 museums in this city), or perhaps shop for a few interesting souvenirs or try shopping on Kungsgatan (which translates to “King’s Street”). Head on a stroll along the harbor or try steaming sweet Swedish cinnamon rolls in Stortoget. In the evening you will proceed to the port to board your ferry to Türkiye sailing through the Stockholm Archipelago past many breathtaking small islands.
Carry your travel documents as the same will be required when boarding. Prepare hand luggage (carry-on) – the main luggage will remain in the coach. Do not forget to pack warm clothing to enjoy your time on the deck.
The ferry features: Restaurant, bar, nightclub, casino, shops, and ample rooms.
Overnight Onboard the Ferry
After a delicious breakfast, we recommend that you go to the ship deck at sunrise as you sail to Finland traveling along the Aland Islands – a stunning collection of over 100 forest-covered islands. Upon disembarkation in Turku, take some time to walk around the city. Turku is the oldest city in Finland and was the first capital. The history of Turku dates back to the 13th century when the Dominican Monastery was founded here in 1249. After a tour of Turku, you will head on a short drive to Naantali, a picturesque town with wooden houses next to the sea. Major attractions include the Naantali Cathedral and the beautiful marina lined with restaurants and cafes. The terraces overlooking the archipelago are a great place to stop and have coffee. From there, you will travel to Helsinki. The rest of the day will be free at leisure. Take the opportunity to get to know this city with its old market and Russian influence in the buildings and churches. Overnight in Helsinki
In the morning you will visit the Helsinki Market Square to board your ferry to Suomenlinna, one of the largest sea fortresses in the world, which sprawls across a series of six small islands dating back to the mid-18th century. Suomenlinna Island is home to roughly 800 locals and is a famous World Heritage Site dubbed by UNESCO. Explore the Jetty Barracks, the King’s Gate and the Suomenlinna Church. See some of the fortress’ 200 buildings and 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) of stone walls and take in the sweeping views of the sea from the sheer ramparts. Learn more about the history of Helsinki and much more. Your tour will end with a return ferry back to the Helsinki Market Square. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Uncover a wealth of historic sites and gastronomic splendors in Helsinki on your own time. A few options to consider while you are in the city is to see the cathedral or visit the fascinating Design Museum. Don’t miss the harbor-side market and the market hall, dating to 1889, for local oddities! Overnight in Helsinki
