Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. After you have cleared Passport Control, your tour guide Mr. Eli Meiri will be waiting holding a sign with your name on it. He will escort you to your waiting transportation to provide the transfer from the airport to KIBBUTZ SHFAIM. Once you have checked in, there will be snacks on arrival with juice and sandwiches.

The Shefayim has a convenient and tranquil position, 15 minute’s drive from Tel Aviv and only 5 minutes from Herzeliya’s business districts. The hotel’s facilities include free wireless internet, children’s playground and a synagogue. The kitchen serves kosher fare, and there is a bar on site.

Drive to Jaffa where Jonah set out before being swallowed by the whale and to which Solomon imported the cedars of Lebanon for the construction of the first temple in Jerusalem. Returning to Tel Aviv we stop at Independence Hall where David Ben Gurion gave his monumental proclamation of the State of Israel in December of 1948. A light falafel lunch and then we go sailing on the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Afterwards return to Kibbutz Shefayim and visit the water park to enjoy the water activities.

Leaving Kibbutz Shefayim we drive south to a Bedouin Village.
Now for a camel ride. You will mount and dismount while the camel is in a sitting position. After your camel ride we will stop for lunch at a Bedouin Village before driving to a Dead Sea hotel where we will have time to float in the unsinkable waters of the Dead Sea.
Please remember to pack your bathing suit, water shoes, sunscreen and take a towel. Afterwards we continue to a Masada Hotel. Check in and relax before dinner. Tonight we will do some singing around a bonfire

Ascend the isolated mountaintop fortress palace of King Herod by cable car. Visit the site of the zealot’s last stand against the Roman legions. After lunch by Masada we drive to the Holy City of Jerusalem and check into our hotel. Enjoy the Time Elevator, a journey through the 3,000 year old history of Jerusalem where Chaim Topol, the star of “Fiddler on the Roof” plays the lead character.
This journeys brings the most dramatic moments in the history of Jerusalem to life. Afterwards a walk in the heart of the city – Ben Yehuda Street.

Breakfast at the hotel then we visit Haas Promenade.
More popularly known as “the Tayelet” it is actually comprised of several walkways. From the heights of these landscaped walkways you can enjoy the full splendour of the city of Jerusalem. Tour the Old City all the way to the Western Wall. Drive back to the Machne Yehuda Market where we will stop for a brief visit with lunch. Drive back to the hotel in time to prepare for Shabbat. Celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat followed by Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

Shabbat group activities and a walk through the Jerusalem neighbourhoods near the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. There will be time to rest and to use the hotel’s swimming pool. Tonight we go out for dinner and then meet a group of Israelis with developmental disabilities at a dance party.
Breakfast then we leave the hotel and head for the Lower Galilee and the Kinneret. We stop to visit a farm to feed and pet the animals. After lunch we check into our hotel and go for a walking tour of the Tiberias promenade.
Dinner in Tiberias followed by a disco evening on a boat on the Kinneret with drumming.

Drive to the Hula Nature Reserve where we will drive around in jeeps. Lunch then visit to an Army base in the Golan Heights. Return to the hotel for dinner, group activities, painting, drawing etc. at the hotel.

In celebration of our visit we will plant a tree. Located in the lower Galilee between Tiberias and Haifa on one of the main roads of the Galilee we find Kfar Kedem. A hands on experience will take you back to the ancient days when the Galilee comes to life. This holistic experience will use all of your senses and your experience will be enriched with historical context.
Ride a donkey and take part in other local activities. Afterwards we drive to Haifa arriving at our hotel. Once we have checked in we are off on a tour of the city. Visit the Baha’i Centre with its manicured Persian Gardens before driving to the mall for dinner and some time for shopping.
Breakfast at the hotel with time to relax before transferring to Ben Gurion Airport and your flight home.
