8 Days tour to Egypt – Cairo & Nile Cruise – DTS3

Day 1
Arrival day – Cairo international airport

Upon your arrival at Cairo you will be warmly greeted by our local  representative at the airport. Our representative will meet and assist you through passport, immigration and custom formalities and assist with the transfer to the hotel, check-in and overnight Cairo.

Day 2
Cairo – The National Egyptian Museum

Buffet breakfast then we start the tour visiting the famous Egyptian Museum. Here we shall provide you with a brief, but colorful insight into the five thousand year history of our fascinating country. Visit the Muslim sector where you can see the Salah El Din Citadel followed by the Mohamed Ali Mosque.
Continue to visit One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza ” CHEOPS, MEKERINUS & CHEPHREN “.   Your tour ends with a visit to the majestic Sphinx which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grandest Pyramid of Chephren.
Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure and overnight Cairo. (B)

Day 3
Cairo | Luxor – Cruise Embarkation – Karnak Temple

Buffet breakfast then check-out and transfer to the Cairo Domestic Airport for your departure flight to Luxor (included). Arrival at Luxor Airport where you will be met, assisted and transferred for embarkation on your cruise ship.
Lunch on board. Visit the East Bank including the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Dinner on board and overnight Luxor. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 4
Luxor | Edfu – Valley of The Kings

Breakfast on board then we visit the West Bank which includes the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon.

Lunch on board.

Afternoon sail to Edfu.

Dinner on board and overnight in Edfu. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 5
Edfu | Kom Ombo | Aswan

Breakfast on board then we visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After our visit we sail to Kom Ombo.

Lunch on board.

Built on the eastern bank of the Nile River under Ptolemy VI,

The Temple of Kom Ombo is unique as it is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god and the falcon headed god Haroeris.

After our visit we sail to Aswan. Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 6
Aswan – Philae temple

Breakfast on board then we visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae.

Lunch on board.

This afternoon enjoy sailing on a felucca (traditional single sailboat) passing by the Botanical Garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 7
Aswan | Cairo – Temple of Abu Simbel

Disembarkation after breakfast.
Around 11:00am you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your departure flight to Cairo (included). Arrival at Cairo Domestic Airport where you will be met, assisted and transferred to the hotel for check-in and overnight Cairo. (Breakfast).

Optional tour: Abu Simbel excursion by coach –
Around 05:00am depart by luxury mini coach for Abu Simbel some 280 Km. away. On arrival at Abu Simbel Airport we start the tour visiting the Temple of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari overlooking lake of Nasser. After the visit around 11:00am you will return back to meet your original group at the hotel and transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo.

Day 8
Cairo – Cairo International airport. Flight back home

Buffet breakfast then check-out and transfer to the Cairo International Airport for your flight home. (Breakfast).
