Day 1
TEL AVIV / CAESAREA / HAIFA / TIBERIAS

On arrival your driver will be waiting to take you to Tiberias. En route we stop to visit the ancient Roman city of Caesarea built by Herod the Great known as Caesarea Maritima.  Haifa built on the slopes of Mount Carmel is next.

See the Shrine of the Báb surrounded by 19 manicured garden terraces. Drive through the Lower Galilee arriving in Tiberias situated on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee named in honor of Tiberius.

Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 2
TIBERIAS / SEA OF GALILEE / DEAD SEA

Today is devoted to visiting the sites of interest according to your religious interest (Christian or Jewish). Journey through the Jordan Valley passing the ancient city of Jericho where more than 20 successive settlements have been unearthed by archaeologists. Enjoy the rugged landscape and its breathtaking views of the Judean Desert bordered by the Mountains of Judea and the Dead Sea.

Overnight by the Dead Sea.

Day 3
DEAD SEA / MASADA / JERUSALEM

Today we discover the isolated mountaintop fortress of Masada, the last Jewish stronghold against the Roman invaders where over 980 zealots chose to commit mass suicide rather than being imprisoned. The heroic story of Masada and its dramatic ending is one of the Jewish people’s greatest examples of determination.

Ascend by cable car to view the remains of Herod the Great’s palaces, store house complex, bath house, fortress and synagogue. A night drive will take us to the Holy City of Jerusalem.

Day 4
JERUSALEM

Enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Zion Gate and visit David’s Tomb traditionally viewed as the burial place of King David located on the ground floor of the former Hagia Zion. The Cenacle (Room of the Last Supper) is on the Upper Floor of the same building. Wander through the Jewish Quarter and see the Cardo, once the main thoroughfare of Byzantine Jerusalem.

Next is Western Wall (Wailing Wall or Kotel) the last remnant of Herod’s Temple located in the Old City, the holiest site in the world for the Jewish people. Walk through the Muslim Quarter to the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief) the path that Jesus walked carrying His Cross on the way to His Crucifixion marked by the Nine Stations of the Cross. The last Five Stations being inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Day 5
JERUSALEM / Tel Aviv

Our tour begins with a drive through the new City of Jerusalem passing the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament located in Givat Ram. Continue to Yad Vashem, the official memorial to the Jewish Victims of the Holocaust established in 1953 to safeguard the memory of the past. Enjoy the amazing view of the Old City from the Haas Promenade also known as the Tayelet.

Afterwards transfer to the airport for your flight home or extend your stay in Jerusalem.
